1. Which association can use Uningo?
All non-profit organisations (ASBL, Foundation, NGO, etc.), which are registered as such with their own company number (such as BCE, SIREN, RNA, etc.).
Natural persons with projects must create a legal structure to benefit from Uningo.
2. Does my association have to be located in Belgium?
No. Your association can operate anywhere in the world.
Its registered adress must however be in one of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
3. How do I register my association with Uningo?
To register, contact us directly via the contact form on our website, or book a slot directly in our calendar: https://calendly.com/julie-deleval/uningo. We will explain the few simple steps to follow in order to register quickly.
We love meeting you and discovering the motivated people behind the associations that join us, but for those who are very impatient to sign up with a few clicks, we are working on automating the registration process.
4. Is Uningo really 100% free? How can it be?
Uningo can offer its services through its unique corporate sponsorship system. With this system a company (or other structure) can cover Uningo's costs in exchange for visibility.
But we go further! Even if a company does not yet sponsor your association you can decide to ask your donors for a voluntary contribution.
5. My organisation can issue tax certificates. How is this handled by Uningo?
If your charity is established in Belgium and can issue tax receipts to its donors, Uningo will ensure that your donors are informed and that the data required to issue these receipts is collected.
For organisations that wish to do so, Uningo can create receipts for donors and send them via email.
If you are not established in Belgium, we could still offer you a solution. Please contact us for more information.
6. Why is Uningo better than Paypal or Stripe?
Stripe and PayPal are excellent payment tools. However, while they allow you to collect online transactions, they do not offer a custom form for collecting donations or manage donor data. Uningo, on the other hand, is optimised for donations and much more.
7. Can I ask a company I know to sponsor my association?
Yes, absolutely! In fact, we recommend it. Indeed, Uningo sponsorship and the visibility it gives the sponsor is an interesting offer for a sponsor who helps your association.
8. Can I refuse sponsorship from a company if our values are not aligned?
Absolutely! We will never activate a corporate sponsorship of your association without your prior approval.
9. Can my association be sponsored by several companies at the same time?
Yes, the logo of the different companies that sponsor you will always be displayed alone, in order to keep the exclusive visibility space. The choice of the logo to be displayed is made automatically on the basis of the allocated budget.
Ex: if one sponsor has allocated a budget of 500EUR and another 1000EUR, the logo of the first will appear in 1/3 of the cases, and the second in 2/3 of the cases.
10. Can Uningo find a company to sponsor me?
Once your association is a member of the Uningo ecosystem, it will be presented to potential sponsor companies contacted by Uningo.
Please note that Uningo does not search for sponsors on a case-by-case basis. When we approach a potential sponsor, we always show them the entire ecosystem and they make the decision on which association they want to help.
11. What happens when the sponsorship budget allocated to my organisation has run out, or I do not (yet) have a company sponsoring my organisation?
No need to worry. You will never be automatically blocked from the platform!
Firstly, if you have received a sponsorship budget from a company, we will alert you and the company when the remaining budget falls to 20% of the original amount. We then encourage the company to replenish the budget.
Secondly, if the sponsorship budget runs dry, there is another way for your association to continue using Uningo: voluntary contributions (suggested tip) from your donors.
Finally, if you don't want to put your donors to work, your association can also decide to cover the costs of Uningo.
12. Can I have my donation page in several languages?
Yes, each donation page is created in 3 languages: English, French and Dutch. Uningo is built to support additional languages too. Contact us to know more.
13. I have donors abroad. Can they donate to me?
Yes, donors from abroad can donate to you as long as they have a credit card. Your donation forms are automatically available in the donor's choice of several currencies: Euro, US Dollar, Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc and Canadian Dollar.
14. My association raises funds for several different projects. Can I have one donation page per project?
Yes, a donation page is automatically created for each project published on Uningo. So if you want to collect donations for a particular project without mentioning your other ongoing projects, you can.
1. Which payment methods are accepted?
You can make a donation or buy a ticket via Uningo with the following payment methods:
Credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, etc.)
Bank card (blue card)
Bancontact
We are working on adding new payment methods.
2. Do I need to create an account on Uningo to make a donation?
No. It is not necessary to have a Uningo account in order to make a one-time donation or purchase a ticket for an event.
For recurring donations, you must create an Uningo account so that you can track, modify or terminate your recurring donations whenever you wish and without going through your bank.
If you want to have access to the history of all your donations, your ticket purchases, or simply maintain easy contact with the organisations you have supported, we advise you to create a Uningo account.
3. Does my entire donation go to the association?
Yes, the full amount of your donation or ticket purchase is paid directly into the association's account.
Transaction fees are not withdrawn or charged at the time of your payment.
4. Are my payments secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed and secured by Stripe.

1. What is "Uningo sponsorship"?
Uningo sponsorship is the possibility for a company (or other structure) to help an association pay the costs of Uningo by paying a minimum amount of 500 EUR (excl. VAT) of credit for it to use on the platform.
2. What type of organisation can offer a Uningo sponsorship?
Any type of organisation wishing to help an association can sponsor it on Uningo for a minimum amount of 500 EUR (excl. VAT): companies, public or private foundations, administrations, self-employed persons, etc.
3. What is the benefit of this type of philanthropic contribution for my company or foundation?
Sponsoring a Uningo association has many advantages:
Modernisation and professionalisation of the association: as a company you surely know that without good management, with good tools, you cannot offer the best service to your customers. It is the same for associations. So help them to get a professional quality tool to better carry out their activities.
Exclusive and targeted visibility: Your logo is displayed next to every donation form, ticket purchase form, volunteer application form, etc. It is also displayed in every automatic confirmation and thank you email. Your logo is thus uniquely visible!
Transparency of your contribution: you know exactly how your contribution will be used because the amount is directly credited to Uningo's usage for the association. In addition, Uningo shares information on the use of the platform and the success of your sponsorship (number of views of your logo, number of clicks, amount of donations collected by the association via Uningo, etc.)
4. I am interested in sponsoring an association on Uningo. How does it work?
Great! If you wish to sponsor an association in the Uningo ecosystem, we will send you a document summarising your intention, which the association will have to sign to indicate its agreement. Then we'll send you an invoice and all you have to do is send us your logo in good quality, a link to your website (or CSR page), and in a few clicks you'll officially become a Uningo sponsor.
5. Can I sponsor several associations?
Yes, you can sponsor several associations at the same time. You can select them one by one, or sponsor a group of associations active in a field of your choice.
6. What is the minimum amount I need to spend on a sponsorship?
The minimum amount for a first sponsorship is 500EUR (excl. VAT). For all subsequent sponsorships the minimum amount is 1000EUR (excl. VAT).
7. I would like to offer Uningo sponsorship to an association that is not on the platform. How can I do this?
No worries. If you wish to help an association that is not in our ecosystem by proposing a Uningo sponsorship, it is possible. Contact us and we will introduce Uningo to the association of your choice, and register them if they wish.
1. How does the Uningo Foundation choose which associations to support?
Several scenarios are possible:
1. Donations are received by the Uningo Foundation directly
In this case, the Uningo Foundation administrators will allocate the donations according to a series of objective criteria after analysing the associations in the Uningo ecosystem and/or the projects presented to it by these associations. Criteria may include: merit, urgency, type of activities, degree of use of the Uningo platform or modernization efforts, etc.
2. Dividends received by Uningo
The Foundation is required to distribute 50% of the dividends to all associations in the Uningo ecosystem according to an algorithm based solely on the degree of use of the Uningo platform since the first day of registration of an association. The remaining 50% is distributed by the administrators according to the same rules as the previous point.
2. Is it possible to make a donation directly to the Uningo Foundation?
Yes, it is possible.
If you wish to support several associations in the ecosystem at the same time, you can make a donation to the Uningo Foundation, which will allocate your donation to the different associations in the Uningo ecosystem. You can also decide to support only associations active in a specific field.
